Composite Materials Fabrication / Testing

Fabricate and test composite material samples, recording strength data across different orientations and moments of inertia.

The same material can show dramatically different strength results based on moment of inertia and orientation. Small orientation changes can affect the integrity of an engineered product as a whole.

I was absent during the testing stage, so I struggled with report format and calculations. Being present for the test and double-checking calculations would have improved my grade.
